Laser Cutting Systems Laser can be used to cut almost any material from Metals, to plastics, wood, material etc. Lasers are very accurate and because of the very fine beam, can make intricate cuts, small holes and cutouts. Laser is generally an economic solution on metals up to ¼" (6mm), thereafter the economics are less and less favorable, due to the completion provided by Plasma.
